@its_Szyd She just had a baby, and he is helping her get out of the shower, get dried off, get the belly band on, and cooked dinner and cleaned. This guy is a wonderful husband and partner. I meal prepped and frozen a couple weeks of dinner to make it easier on all of us post partum.
@twitbymrself@juliethardt She just had a baby, that is why he put the liner in her pants, bound her stomach, helped her from bending, there’s a newborn bassinet beside her. Yes, I do expect this from my husband, did I get it, no. I think this is beautiful
@twitbymrself@juliethardt Because I feel everyone needs this context:
She clearly had a C-section (everything he helps with after her shower is a sign to anyone who has gone through this) and this is just him helping her out post C-section because women literally can't do anything for six weeks after it
@LeeBroom10 @KarmaisKatii@twitbymrself@juliethardt I don't think this is how he behaves 24/7. So that white thing he helps wrap around her is something used to help aid women after a C-section, and women really can't do much at all (including not lifting anything above 8 lbs) when recovering for about six weeks. Hope that helps!
we met in highschool, started dating in 2009
after we graduated, he wanted to go to university to become a teacher. His mother didn't want to pay for it, not even money for the bus ride there. She told him to go back to working at McDonalds.
I didn't get the grades I needed for university, so I got a job to pay for his education instead.
His homelife was abusive, so in 2011 I hid him away in my house. My Dad noticed after 3 days and invited him to live with us properly. His mother was furious, but there was nothing she could do: we were adults.
I worked three retail jobs to put him through university. It was hard. There were times where depression took hold for both of us. I would cry on the way to work because of how much I hated it, but I kept going because he needed me.
We lived together in my childhood bedroom in a delapidated house.
After 7 years, he got a temporary teaching job in the middle of nowhere Australia. He asked me to come with him. "You supported me all these years, now I want to support you in doing what you want to do."
I told him I wanted to make ASMR.
And now we're here. He is a wonderful teacher who loves our local community. He loves his job and has helped so many students.
Even if Boi and I broke up tomorrow, I would have no regrets spending my 20s supporting him. It's one of the best things I've ever done with my life.
