I have postponed my trip to Iperu, Ogun State. My first duty at this moment is to stand with the people of Plateau.
I will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those who seek to spread fear will not prevail. We will continue to strengthen our security response and ensure that justice is done.
From Plateau, I will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday, and then continue with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa focused on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth.
In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building.
The work continues. Nigeria First.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President
@officialABAT@SenRemiTinubu@KashimSM@officialSKSM @asovilladigital Happy birthday to a great comrade, progressive leader and the steerer of highest authority in Nigeria……May the Lord guide you aright Mr. President.
At 15, my father sent me to a stranger's house at night.
It changed the trajectory of my life.
I was struggling with Maths.
In Mushin, there was one tutor everyone whispered about.
He was so good he taught the children of the wealthy privately.
Bode Omotowoju Bankole.
My father went to see him.
We couldn't afford his prices.
After much persuasion, the compromise was harder to swallow.
He would charge 100 Naira per hour
but the condition was that I had to spend the night at his place.
He needed every naira he could earn to survive as a UNILAG student.
My mother said no.
My father looked at me
and said nothing.
He hustled for the money.
And he took the risk.
Poverty does not give you perfect conditions.
At night, Bode would wake me:
"Wale, what time is it?"
"3am."
Then we did Maths for two hours.
Night after night.
For weeks.
When I returned to school, something had shifted.
I wasn't catching up.
I was flying.
In the end:
WAEC - A1 (Maths)
NECO - A1 (Maths)
Those foundations stayed with me.
They are part of why I chose Civil Engineering years later when I returned to university as an undergraduate at age 30.
This is why I struggle when I see young people refuse to engage.
This generation faces fewer barriers to knowledge than any in history.

What you are fighting is not scarcity.
It is DISTRACTION.
For the poor African child, the journey has always been hard by design, not by accident.
"The future you is silently depending on the current you to stay disciplined"
If this reframed something for you,
Please share it with someone you love.
And follow for more.
We will rise together.
@fetswallet I understand that there can be technical issues but not till eternity. The issue of withholding people funds and unable to make payments should not be more than few days, the inconvenience is unbearable, we demand urgent and speedy action.

People will do all they can to tarnish your image, smear your personality etc but take heart because no matter what they do they can’t take away your good deeds. Let them say what they want. The Almighty knows the truth & those who know you better won’t fall for such cheap shots.
Happy 64th Birthday to @ProfOsinbajo, a reliable and dedicated deputy who is not only admirably competent, but also exudes confidence and passion in the performance of his job; a cool-headed gentleman who puts the interest of Nigeria above other narrow considerations.
