🚨 MAJOR SECURITY ALERT
8 certificate authority private keys have been compromised.
How bad is it? An attacker holding these keys could impersonate ANY website, including banks, exchanges, or Google, and potentially intercept sensitive communications.
The good news: Chrome, Firefox and Apple have already taken action to block the compromised certificates.
The bad news: Many apps, developer tools and systems may still trust them.
What you should do TODAY:
Update your browser, OS and phone.
Update desktop apps (Slack, Discord, VS Code, etc.) as patches arrive.
Avoid untrusted Wi-Fi until your devices are updated.
Only install updates from official sources.
Ignore any email offering a "certificate fix".
This is a serious compromise of internet trust infrastructure, not just another website hack.

@trydotworks@willchen500 At this point whoever does this at a bigger level for sure would want some type of monopoly so they control that space won’t be truly open source as Mike oss
I left two Claude Code sessions open overnight. One project each, 8+ hours deep.
Next morning I typed one message into each.
Those two messages used up my entire 5 hour limit. 100%. Couldn't do anything.
The reason: Claude caches your session for about an hour. After that, your next message re-reads the whole history at full price. On a 1M context session that's brutal.
So I built park, a Claude Code plugin (app + CLI):
warns you before the cache expires
auto compacts while it's still warm (cheapest moment)
saves everything to a state folder in your project
your next session picks it up automatically, you just type
reopen a cold session and it stops your message before it costs you a thing

@bcherny thanks for jumping in on this one
@ClaudeDevs I just have a question how do I get rid of the projects on new blank screen or session I can’t see my nice clean ui usage progress I synced the projects but can’t get rid of them when I start a new session they just stay there
@XunzhuoLiu This is a great will for sure will be intergerating this into our own software decision making is the biggest problem these frontier models still lack in great work!!
@Nandakishorm1 Sure sir if u want I will make this give me 12 hrs I will give you a GitHub link will make it open source as I was already working on something similar for SLms
@trq212 Honestly the problem I would say isn’t that overall complicated if you look from the consumer perspective but decision making especially in the domain our start up is in that is immigration hard to get a deterministic answer that is always relaible on the data we train it on
