At least 70 people, including some 60 children, were killed when U.S. and Israeli strikes hit the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ elementary school in Minab, southern Iran, according to the Fars News.

The attack reportedly struck during school hours, with about 170 girls inside. Videos show families screaming and digging through rubble as rescue crews searched for survivors. Tehran has vowed retaliation.

Canada's reasoning for denying entry to members of @KNEECAPCEOL is layered with contradictions. Here are a few examples of individuals Canada has allowed in just this year:

(i) Israeli soldiers who went on speaking tours following their deployment in Gaza during the ongoing genocide.

(ii) Representatives of Israeli arms manufacturers, such as Elbit Systems, who came to promote and sell their products at CANSEC.

(iii) Naftali Bennett, former Israeli Prime Minister, who served in the IOF unit responsible for the 1996 Qana massacre — an attack by the Israeli military that killed over 100 Lebanese civilians.

(iv) Michael Rapaport, a C-list celebrity, who has publicly voiced support for the Kahanist movement (a listed terrorist entity in Canada), stating "The only way is Kahane way. Period."

(v) Gilad Erdan, former Israeli ambassador to the UN, who stated "When the General Assembly called for a ceasefire, I declared loud and clear that there will be no ceasefire, never." Erdan also stated that the UN headquarters "should be closed and wiped off the face of the earth."

Meanwhile, the actual nuclear-armed aggressors—Israel and the U.S.—refuse to sign the NPT, openly violate international law, and bomb sovereign nations with impunity.

Canada claims to support non-proliferation? Then why did you oppose the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons? Why do you refuse to endorse a Middle East nuclear weapons-free zone? Oh right—because Israel, your apartheid ally, wants to remain the only unaccountable nuclear power in the region.

Let’s stop pretending this is about peace or “stability.”
It’s about shielding a genocidal settler state that’s turned Gaza into a graveyard, assassinated scientists, bombed Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and now Iran—and still enjoys full diplomatic cover from you.
Carney won’t even utter the word “genocide”, as Israeli missiles tear through refugee camps and hospitals. Instead, he regurgitates scripted talking points, masking complicity as diplomacy.

Canada is not a neutral actor.
It is an enabler. A funder. A shield.
