Sonya: Mine? Honestly, all of Si's scenes were difficult. 😅
Honestly, sometimes there'd be little slip-ups here and there. A little bit of a tantrum, sometimes an actual fit, things like that.
But if I had to pick a scene that made me understand what kind of person Si is, I'd say the screaming scene.
The screaming scene.
At first, I told every interviewer the same thing: normally, Sonya is not a screamer. I'm not the kind of person who would suddenly go, "Waaahhh!" out of nowhere. You know what I mean? 😂
And screaming in front of a lot of people is kind of embarrassing too.
Back then, I'd only just met P'Kratae and P'Boy. We'd only recently started working together, and then suddenly I had to scream and act completely ridiculous and silly. 😂
So at first, P'Boy and P'Tae didn't think it was going to be that much.
So I told them beforehand,
"Okay, for this scene, I'm really going to spin around, I'm going to scream, and I'm going to act completely crazy, okay? So don't be shocked." 🤣
I just wanted to warn them first.
And I think it was one of the very first shooting queues too.
Then I had to scream in front of everyone.
I was a little embarrassed.
There was even the actress playing the housemaid. I told her too.
We're close, actually. We chat all the time. We'd sit together during breaks, eat together, buy KFC and share it.
So I told her,
"I'm going to scream, okay? Don't laugh. If you laugh, I'll laugh too."
Because the housemaid would always be sitting there like—
(trying really hard not to laugh) 😂 liked that scene.
It made me feel like,
"Okay... Si is actually kind of a weirdo."
🎤 Host: So you rehearsed it too?
Sonya: Yes, yes!
I even asked P'Bo.
P'Bo was like,
"So, Sonya, what are you going to do? How are you going to scream? What kind of scream are you going for?"
And I said,
"Well... let me ask P'Bo first. What kind of scream do you want?" 😂
And P'Bo said, "Scream like an idiot. Just scream. Let it out." 🤣
Like, scream as if screaming is the most normal thing in the world.
Don't be startled by what you're doing. If you're not shocked by what you're doing, nobody else will be shocked by it either.
So I was like—
(starts breathing heavily and building up energy, her whole body tensing and trembling dramatically) 😂
Because you have to build it up first before the scream.
You know the feeling, right?
It's like—
(gasps with her mouth hanging open)
And then— "AAAAAAHHHHHH!"
And then to finish it off—"HUUUYYY!" 🤣
One more time for extra impact.
But it wasn't just screaming for the sake of screaming.
It wasn't an angry scream.
It was more of a pouty, sulky kind of scream.
Like— "Ngeeehhh... whyyyyy?" 😂
And then there was a level-two version where I had to come out and scream in front of the house again.
That was the scene that really made me understand who Si was.
I think it was around queue two or three.
