Some unexpected guests today during our Nursing Clinics in northern Vietnam. @GriffithNursing and @CDUni students are running health clinics in remote villages - you never know who will walk in! Another amazing @NewColomboPlan experience!
@marquelawyers You have to admit, this tweet has a great rhythm and internal consistency to it (like a stollen perhaps). Henry Zubrowski was saying on Last Podcast that every cult relies for its coherence on the unique rhythm and cadence of its leader - this is an example par excellence
Apparently, Queensland was the first place in the British Commonwealth to abolish the death penalty. Not the sort of thing you expect Queensland to be known for, TBH: https://t.co/sEGUUiwF20
@ScavengerEthic @yassmin_a This happened to me today, also it wasn't my name which made it weirder. They just kept calling me... a name. I didn't have the heart to correct them.
Watch the full talk by Jens Stoltenberg "Avoiding the Oil Curse" here.
It is a brilliant talk and covers many topics including Norway's family policy.
Highly recommend especially during the current energy crisis we are facing.

If you read one thing about #WangYi's Pacific tour, make it @POTFSM letter to other Pacific leaders about the 'vision' and 'five year plan' documents China wants signed.
"[This is] the single-most game-changing proposed agreement in the Pacific in any of our lifetimes." 1/2
@JohnBirmingham This tweet made me open a page in Dopeland randomly to see you railing about how Peter Carey in Kelly Gang couldn’t cap a dude in hi-res like in Doom 3 so what was the point in reading books anyway. Made me lol
@mckinleaf Good point about Mobile, I think it’s harder (impossible?) to do drive-by malware that way. And that’s where all the QR action is. A proof of concept would be tempting for interest’s sake but too evil to actually do
Now that QR codes are ubiquitous, they provide a rich target environment for malware. It would be trivial to create a legit-looking check-in poster with a QR code that launched a malicious web page. There would be no way for a user to tell the code apart from a genuine one.
