This is not so accurate. HMRC will not automatically pay you £50k 😅. Its income tax relief. So it adjusts your income tax by that amount.

@paris_wisdom SEIS is an investment scheme by the UK Government HMRC that allows UK based investors receive 50% of their investment in UK based high-risk startups, back as tax relief. For eg: if you invest £100k, you’ll get back £50k from HMRC and keep your shares in our UK based startup.

On the contrary, if the APR on the car finance is less than the opportunity cost (the return on another investment), that is a net gain. Car finance is better in that case.
The only issue is when you cant afford the car, then thats you using car finance to live beyond your means

But, I strongly recommend you consider buying cars in the UK 🇬🇧 with the cash you have available.

Buying a car on Finance is gross lack of financial intelligence in my opinion.
