Recently, I found out that Eve in the Bible wasn’t the first woman God created.

Before Eve, there was Lilith as revealed by biblical scholars and ancient texts.

She was created from the same dust as Adam, and not from his ribs like Eve.

Lilith refused to be beneath Adam, she declared herself his equal, and for that she was casted out.

So God created Eve instead. A more agreeable version. The church has largely buried this narrative.

But it sits somewhere in ancient Hebrew texts and has never been fully disproven. So the first woman in creation was not removed because she sinned, she was replaced because she refused to submit.

Final Update on LEAPrimary School in Kabala: I am pleased to announce the completion of another block of classroom in Local Education Authority (LEA) Primary School, Kabala Ward. Over the past few weeks, we continuously notified the public on the progress. A week ago, I instructed my team to work with the management of the school to beautify the school, (art works, trees and some flowers alongside local young people that were engaged). I would like to thank the contractor, (whom I have never met), for completing the task despite the present budgetary constraints. We ran on focusing on quality and affordable education seriously, as it is the cornerstone of our legislative agenda and a social leveller. The block was named after the late Alhaji Musa Lawal, fondly remembered as Baba Lawal (Protocol). A seasoned civil servant that served Kaduna State with distinction.

The FIFA Forward Enterprise project was intended to provide a basis for further strengthening our FIFA Member Associations and our sport worldwide, especially in those countries where support is most needed. And more so, as we said from the outset, to do this only if a majority of the FIFA Member Associations were in support and always subject to a consultation process with them, the FIFA Council, the Confederations and wider stakeholders.

Having listened carefully to all the views, it has become clear that the project has created divisions of a nature that, regardless of the level of support, are no longer in the interest of the objective set out in the first place.

Our purpose has always been - and will always be - to unite and improve.

As a result, this proposal will not proceed.

Moving forward, my intent is to bring all interested parties back together in the coming days and weeks in the spirit of shared interest in our game, and with the objective to continue growing football everywhere, particularly in those countries that mostly need our support.
