If Messi just retired after winning the 2022 world cup, he would have be considered as amongst the greatest players of all time with honor but this world cup ruined everything. After rigging the 2022 world cup, he was hoping to win 2026 world cup through cheating which ended up getting him exposed. Now, people had to investigate him and realized that his career achievements has just been based on favorism.

This is what happens when you allow greed consume you.

After getting 5 penalties in 7 world cup match which helped you win the world cup, rather than retired with pride as a legend who has won every trophy there is, you decided to push further to use the same rigging to win another world cup.

Unfortunately, the world won't remain silent like they did in 2022 which is why football fans had to dig his past and exposed him for the fraud that he is.

After messi retires, he'll now be known as a fifa princess whose career was facilitated by Infantino.

It's a shame one of the greatest players of all time ruined his legacy.
