To sum up, security and usability is a known difficult trade-off.
I believe it's only a matter of time until Windows Copilot will come to Lock Screen. And when it does, I hope @msftsecurity will integrate it in a smart and secure way - better than they did with Cortana.🤞🏻

The release of Windows #Copilot in Windows 11 is a wonderful reminder of the major potential security risks involved when integrating an AI agent with #Windows OS.

Windows ✨Co-Pilot

This is the biggest thing in AI this year. All windows machines will have an AI agent at the OS level. It's native. Omni-present.

All of a sudden everything on your local device gets accessible by the AI agent. This is clearly a paradigm shift. Time to buckle up.

The barrier to entry and universal access to an AI language model just got a lot lower.

This is about Microsoft and their ability to simply power ahead, hats off to the entire team and leadership. Great work.

PS. Apple needs to play catch up now. Can't wait to see what they have been cooking up. Let's see what they share at WWDC in 2 weeks.

Eventually, #Microsoft announced last month that they will kill #Cortana later this year, probably being replaced by Windows Copilot. Will history repeat itself?

The bottom line - blocking part of an AI agent functionality and output is a hard security problem. 4/4

The same as we prompt AI assistants to disclose private data and perform harmful actions from a locked screen using creative voice commands, users nowadays exploit creative prompts to get full and unfiltered responses from ChatGPT. 🤖 3/4
