I've had two failed businesses.
I'm using the lessons learned from them to do better in my current business.
Those two businesses failed but I learned.
Context.
Relevance.
Specificity.
Timing.
Proof.
Value.
Those are the concepts that make Outbound DM โ Qualified book calls work.
The opposites don't work.
@russellbrunson Confidence without actions as proof is just an illusion. Doing the work so many times that it becomes unreasonable you fail is what builds confidence.
If you can't show a prospect (especially a stranger) a proof that you've done what they want for yourself or someone else it's hard to get them pay upfront.
That's why starting Free to get proofs is not a bad idea. Not knowing how to turn free trial to paid gig is the problem.
If you can't provide any of the 3 proofs below, you have a "LOW-Trust" service at the moment. Meaning strangers will not want to pay for it upfront.
(1) I've done it for myself.
(2) I've done it for others.
(3) I've done it for people like you.
Quick First Client Acquisition Hack:
If you're willing to give first (work for free)...
...and give it to the right people who'd value what you're giving (someone few steps ahead), you'll get a "yes" fast...
And that yes could lead to a better opportunity later (paid gig).
As much as we try to avoid it, risk is part of the equation of success in every worthwhile endeavour.
Just weigh the price of taking and not taking it to guide your decision.
Same service.
Different positioning.
This is one of the reasons why...
I take my (client acquisition coaching) clients through an offer revamping process first.
To help them stand out from the crowd.
And multiply their chances of getting a yes from their ICPs.
It's OK to feel unmotivated to do the work.
What's not OK is to allow your feelings actually stop you from doing the work.
That's the big differentiator between those that get the work done at the right time and others.
