also since it’s the day of arafah tomorrow i would like to share this lovely dua that the prophet made on his last hajj. it’s one of the most sincere and touching supplications i’ve ever read.
وَخُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفًۭا
"Man was created weak"
[4:29]
Ibn 'Abbās commented:
"This is because men are unable to stay away from women and intercourse..."
Tawus commented on this saying:
"This verse is regarding women."
Waki' commented on this saying:
Eid mubarak everyone.
Wouldn’t want to be born in a time of complete and utter political turmoil with anyone other than my fellow Muslims from this generation.
We get so focused on the future and our aspirations that we don't realise we’re in the middle of what we used to pray for.
Alhamdulillah for blessings we didn't ask for but came anyways, and for the things that we asked for but weren't granted because they weren't right for us.
May Allah accept every salat we’ve offered, overlook our faults and respond to the dūas we’ve whispered and the ones we’ve cried out loud for.
So that, one day, when the sun shines on our names, we’ll remember these nights we prayed in silence with empty pockets and full faith.
If tonight is Laylatul Qadr, Ya Allah heal the hearts that are silently breaking. The ones betrayed by people they trusted, the ones carrying pain nobody understands.
Salaam everyone. I would kindly like to request for prayers for my father who is in a critical state as he suffered a heart attack on Monday. Currently unresponsive and has very poor heart strength.
If you could spare a thought for my father it would be very appreciated. Jzk.
