Just trying to mind my business but I can't help it. Why do we have FOUR Uchicago cop cars stopping one man in HP? I don't know all the context. But I do know he was arguing with a woman and showed no weapon.
I have been missing out this season, but I'm glad they got this win yesterday. Although I would have loved to watched it. Putting reminders on my phone since I'm the only one in my friend group who cares lol
We don't invest in black youth. We don't offer them any resources. We have no programming, no extracurricular activities, no support for black youth. That's why Saturday happened. Shame on yall for blaming the kids and their parents. Do the parents have what they need. Let's bffr

UPDATE: Paul Vallas is poised to advance to the April runoff for mayor of Chicago. Brandon Johnson is in the lead for the second slot to take him on.

Results for 5th ward. I had different expectations. But oddly enough I met Desmon at a Public Safety townhall event at CSU, it seemed that he genuinely cares for his community. And I think he's better than the other top candidates
And there is a mayoral candidate forum happening next Thursday, Jan 26th. And we're getting into all of it, public safety, schools, climate, housing & workers rights. Come and join us!
Hey y'all! A couple of important events happening on the Southside. First, there is a 5th Ward candidate forum this Saturday, primarily focusing on housing but other issues will be discussed as well
