Trip down memory lane.
35 years ago today, lifting the Australian Open trophy also meant reaching World No. 1 for the first time.
So many sacrifices, so many people behind that moment.
Some memories never fade 🏆1️⃣🎾
July, 9th 1989 is the greatest day in German tennis history. Steffi Graf and Boris Becker won @Wimbledon at the same day. Because of the weather the women’s final was played the same day, before the men’s final. A historic day which will never be repeated again.
