Dear Africans. I know you think we are cowards. You think we have allowed Mnangagwa to rule with impunity. This is is what we face. We have been facing this for the past 45 years. The problem is, we have been doing it peacefully but met with live bullets. SADC & AU are OK with us being killed.
A time will come when we are going to pick matchets and guns and chop each other like what happened in Rwanda. SADC and AU will condemn us as barbarians.
Millions of us have left our country not because we desire to be in your countries. We cannot live under this perpetual suffocation. Now we see that South Africans are tired of us. We don't want to be in your countries. We want to be in Zimbabwe.
We have asked your presidents to restrain this rabid junta led by Mnangagwa but none of them has tried. We tried elections and we all saw what happened. We are at the end of out wits. and about to snap.
If any of you can convince your governments to give us guns and a forest, you will see that we are not cowards.
Running a business with your significant other is Matakoππ now conversation are all about "Client will send the money today" "Your drivers are what what" " we need to get that done as soon as possible " ano, and our love??????
Does anyone know how many Certified Financial Planners there are in Namibia?
In South Africa, the number recently passed 5,000. But here in Namibia, I honestly suspect we are nowhere near that, possibly not even a hundred. The CFP body itself is only now starting to expand into Namibia, mostly to support planners who qualified in South Africa and then moved here, which tells you how early we still are.
So if anyone knows the actual number, I would genuinely love to know ππ»@LiinaNaughty@namfisa

Rejection Before the Closing Date...
Yesterday, one of our HR Consultants shared something interesting with me.
She said, "Lisa, I've received several calls from job seekers who are unhappy because they received rejection emails before the closing date. They don't understand why we are already declining applications when the advert is still open."
I smiled because this is a question many recruitment teams receive and an HR friend of mine spoke about it earlier this week.
What happens behind the scenes?
Many organisations receive hundreds, and sometimes even thousands, of applications for a single vacancy. Waiting until the closing date before reviewing every application would create unnecessary delays, especially when recruitment timelines are tight.
As applications come in, recruiters often start screening them immediately. We check whether candidates meet the minimum requirements, such as qualifications, experience, licences, or other essential criteria. If an application clearly does not meet the advertised requirements, it may be declined straight away.
This doesn't mean the recruiter is impatient or unfair. It is simply part of managing a high-volume recruitment process efficiently.
Imagine receiving 1,500 applications. If you can start reviewing them from day one instead of waiting until the closing date, you spread the workload, respond to candidates sooner, and move qualified applicants through the process more efficiently.
Receiving an early rejection can be disappointing, but it also gives you something valuable, clarity. Instead of waiting weeks wondering about the outcome, you know where you stand and can focus your energy on applying for other opportunities.
For job seekers, my advice is simple, don't be discouraged by an early rejection. Read the job requirements carefully before applying. If you don't meet the essential criteria, use that feedback as motivation to strengthen your qualifications, skills, or experience for future opportunities.
Recruitment is not only about filling vacancies. It is also about managing thousands of applications fairly, professionally, and within tight deadlines.
So, if you receive a rejection before the closing date, don't assume something has gone wrong. In many organisations, it simply means the recruitment process has already begun.
Behind our e-recruitment system are human beings screening. We opted for this so we don't miss out on good candidates completely.
