@dividendology Its at 25x 2025 (almost over) PE and growing EPS double digits. If the growth materializes then 13% higher in 12mo is really just same multiple as today... IMO low to mid 20s is where GARP names look attractive.
@dividendology is ADP canary in the coal mine here? The price action (52wk low) is telling different story vs money center banks like WFC (all time high). very odd to me...
@ronmortgageguy I think we could already be in a recession. GDP per capita negative for 4 straight quarters. Restaurant sales down double digits. Anecdotally seeing more layoff posts on various online forums. Next few months will be interesting...
@BetterDwelling Should really read the original in full context. 78% forecasted provision due to Bill 23, if it becomes reality and if province provides zero help. Without it, 15% over 3 years which is quite reasonable.
@ronmortgageguy Wife works for builder lawyer. Often extensions will be worked out, at cost of penalties and fees. Made sense for buyers when market was going up and you bought pre-con at much lower prices. Not so sure now...
@ronmortgageguy@AwkwardWelcome @robic_j I think more likely in such a scenario that if a bank tries anything different, the govt will mandate them to get their asses back in line.
@SquawkCNBC @SenatorSinema @JoeSquawk@andrewrsorkin Probably a backroom deal between her and the Senators who actually wanted this out. To have her be the holdout in exchange for something else๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@ronmortgageguy@ssaif_ yea def not how I figured this all works before I started making calls. perhaps aligned with the idea banks prefer not to be in the home ownership business ๐
@ssaif_@ronmortgageguy in the meantime, would never voluntarily increase payments. better to lump sum wherever we can and keep payment low for more flexibility. Banks certainly won't lower payments if rates go down so it's a one way street
@ssaif_@ronmortgageguy luckily for us renewal not till 2026 and LTV only 50%. lot of runway for shit to hit the fan for the economy and rates to go back down ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@Wp_88 @matthewfrail @ronmortgageguy and I get they could be wrong, but consider someone in my position, do you believe random people on the web or do you believe what the bank tells you.
@Wp_88 @matthewfrail @ronmortgageguy I get what you guys are saying, and tbh thats what I thought too before, but TD's website and what their FAs told me when I asked, say otherwise. They explicitly said payments dont change until renewal, even if interest exceeds mtg payment
