@JoshGrahamShow Josh-Many of us have seen and benefited from the impact your Dad has made on the community. It’s been an honor to have worked with him in WF and both of my grown kids were a part of his DARE program. He’s an outstanding guy! Great share-
@sports8 I know it’s frustrating and we don’t have to agree or convince each other. Just my opinion the NHL has some work to do when it comes to exercising goaltender interference calls.
For what it’s worth-we will see another call like this. Good luck the rest of the way sir.
@IbrahiimMoizoos@FriedgeHNIC When these interference calls happen one thing remains consistent……results are baffling when you read rule 69. The interpretations are a circus and defy the intent of the rule and game play. Read for yourself https://t.co/rrd8Ooo777
@Buccigross Read rule 69 yourselves and welcome to the circus that is officiating of goaltender interference. Agree w this call or not, we have all seen frustrating outcomes on these calls.

NOTE-More you read this rule, the more confused/frustrated you’ll be.
@sports8 NHL rule 69 -Interference on the Goalkeeper
https://t.co/rrd8Ooo777
I don’t blame any of the Vegas faithful for feeling screwed here….we’ve all seen plenty of the Goaltender interference circus that by rule should be called and it isn’t. Goals allowed/disallowed and aren’t.🎪
@sports8 ….that contact impedes the goalkeeper from playing/covering the puck. By rule, it is interference. Had Barbashev poked the puck clean without first making the glove contact it would be a goal.
@IbrahiimMoizoos@FriedgeHNIC Barbashev stick poked Andersen’s glove which drives the puck into the net. You can’t drive a goalie first and then the puck into the net. It is by rule exactly the right call-NO GOAL.
@IbrahiimMoizoos@FriedgeHNIC He doesn’t have to have it in his glove for interference to occur. NHL rule .. goals will be disallowed and penalties may be assessed if an attacking player physically restricts a goalie's ability to move within their crease or initiates intentional contact with the netminder.
@DeLo_77@FriedgeHNIC Right the play on THE PUCK is legal….but when stick drives the goalie glove first then moves the puck. This glove contact-prevents the goalie from playing the puck. That’s interference. It doesn’t matter if the puck is covered or not.
@james_commentor@FutureCanes@CatsandCanes@JamesFally When Barbashev’s stick drives Freddie’s glove on this clip, that’s the call…..goaltender interference. The stick contact prevents the goalie from making a glove play on the puck. Call is right no goal. Had Barbashev poked that puck clean without that glove contact -good goal.
