@JimRotolo Well since every other song is a monster for Bruce fans, the only two choices in my mind are Meeting and Night. I’ll go w Meeting, both for the song and lyrics themselves, but also for the anticipation it builds for Jungleland. It really could be called Jungleland pt 1.
@nut_history I think it’s great for the people in the top rows of the section, but doesn’t accomplish anything for the people sitting in the bottom 1/2 of the section as the people returning will not be seated before the next AB starts.
@wtbball Spray w laundry stain remover of your choice, then wash w OxyClean powder and Tide pod. Did this with both my kids for a combined 15 years. White as white all the time, even for the early Saturday games after late Friday night on tournaments. :)
@BruceLyricsNL Outlaw Pete. There are a bunch of great tunes on this but Outlaw Pete is epic Bruce at his best. The live version for Hyde Park is a spectacle to watch - the audience goes from “what is this” to total embracing of it by the end. Top 10 tune of his for me.
@Acyn So what if he did? Good thing a Russian or Chinese spy didn’t do the same thing. This is the point. They shouldn’t have been on Signal! Time to step down, or be removed.
@BruceLyricsNL Youngstown for me. But in fairness only the live version. I would put that tune high on my list of “Bruce songs that transform to another level live”.
@BruceLyricsNL Incident is a top 5 Bruce tune for me, but Wild Billy’s Circus Story has always held a special place for me on this album. Love the lyrics and ending w “Hey son, do you want to try the big top”.
@RichardCityNews 1. Cops should be able to get coffee during their shift.
2. They shouldn’t have to park three blocks away - that’s dangerous when a 911 call comes in to them.
3. It was harassment. They are lucky they don’t live in a different city/country where they would be arrested for that.
@DannyDeraney Amazing. I’ve listened to Springsteen’s live version of this song 100’s of times. Love this take on it. Great tune and great energy here!
@Wendi_Irlbeck Thanks for the parenting tips. Super helpful. Just what I was looking for. Honestly - what works for you is terrific. But to presume that is the only way and to judge if another family chooses a different way is horseshit. How dare you judge others like that. Give me a break
@JimRotolo@springsteen@SIRIUSXM Outlaw Pete - Bruce story telling at its finest, with the perfect soundtrack to accompany it. Hyde Park version is absolutely epic.
@JimRotolo@springsteen@SIRIUSXM That was a great topic. I would have suggested Outlaw Pete too - I was thrilled when that made it. The Hyde Park footage of that is ridiculous. The audience went not knowing what song it was to losing their minds by the end. My backup selection would have been Iceman :)
