Michael Kay used the iconic Bucky Dent Home Run call when George Lombard Jr. hit one over the head of Mike Yastrzemski, the grandson of Carl Yastrzemski.
"Yastrzemski will not get it, it's a home run!"
If the boys win, I will give them $10 million to distribute as they see fit to their team members. Game on pay-per-view with all profits donated to Tunnel 2 Towers to provide mortgage free homes to families of deceased soldiers, police & first responders.
Important announcement: I am upping my offer, $10 million dollars for a head-to-head basketball game between the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces and a boy's high school state title team of my choice. If the Aces beat my team, I will give them $10 million.
Absolute moron/idiot to call Caitlin a coward for this answer. 1st of all you don’t even know how she feels on this issue and more importantly she doesn’t owe it to you or anybody else to be your political talking point. She just wants to play ball. Total coward cheap shot to call her a coward for not being your puppet
Tyrese Haliburton says nobody in the NBA has stamina like Jalen Brunson
Tyrese: "He's not obviously the tallest dude, but his footwork and the way he's able to use his body in the post I think is pretty crazy for his size"
Tyrese: "If you put a guy on him who's his size, they're too small. That's just like point blank period"
Tyrese: "It's like you get multiple thrusts at all times. It's a lot to defend over the course of a whole series"
LeBron: "I also don't think that people talk about his stamina enough. Like I never feel like he gets tired"
LeBron: "In the clutch in a five-point game, 5 minutes left, Jaylen Brunson averaged 40 points per 36 minutes… he scored 52% of his team's points"
LeBron: "You look at SGA, SGA was 44%. Jaylen Brunson last year he was 43%. So he bumped that up another 9 percentage [points]"
So long, America🫡🇺🇸
49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us.
This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped we’d get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now we’re flying home with friends all across the USA.
Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country we’ve ever visited.
So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isn’t nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome!
I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly:
“If you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.”
Thank you, America ❤️🇺🇸
I honestly believe the Knicks winning the championship inserted a level of joy and happiness into my being that cannot and will not be erased. You cannot take that from me. The floor of the depth of any cavern of sadness was raised as well as the ceiling of my joy
