@Yair_Rosenberg If they can find a way to twist his wise words, and miss the whole message, there’s no hope for anyone else. People read the few words on twitter through the lens of their own baggage, ready to take sides based on no real dialogue. Really contributes to the divisiveness today.
@RVCBard @rabbisandra I’m referring to normal conversations between people, albeit people of potentially different backgrounds. I’m honestly sorry if the conversations you have experienced have been otherwise. Please believe that not everyone that talks to one somehow different from them thinks that.
@RVCBard @rabbisandra Which is how? You start a conversation, ask a question, especially if you are some place in common. I’m not saying grill a person, that’s ridiculous. But a getting to know you conversion, organically, includes questions.
@rabbisandra As a Russian Jew growing up in Brooklyn, I didn’t see much diversity (shockingly). On a trip to Israel I was introduced to Jews from Mexico, Africa, China, to name a few. We come from everywhere. But my experience as a Russia Jew is different than a white American Jew, different-
@zeltserman We were actually wiped out! Weather held up, despite the forecast, and I had to turn off the lights and turn kids away. First time in forever!
@Fly_Sistah Wasn’t that divisiveness the basis of racism in this country? (Post slavery I mean). I remember learning that...to ensure the poor white people wouldn’t rise up, they were fed some BS about superiority and divided people by skin color.
@RavMABAY I don’t think anyone should be forced to resign when two consenting adults are involved. But wtf is up with people and pictures? Esp in this day and age, shit gets out, don’t take pictures!🤦🏻♀️
Should know better.
@NBCNews Ridiculous. Don’t care what the current laws are...a person serves their country and is a decorated war veteran =automatic citizenship. No debate.
@TheRaDR Add to the list: the leftovers in the lunchbox forgotten over the weekend that you find on Monday morning. Or better yet, after winter break....
@ohwhatworld_oz @DrJenGunter Not sure where you live, but google a stylist that is Ouidad certified. Their cuts are expensive, but even getting just one, plus great instruction on how to care for curly hair, can make a world of difference to a preteen.
