Again, I do not condone casually shooting down drones. However, if one malfunctions, flies aggressively, or presents a clear and immediate threat to my family or property, I will neutralize it. The operator will be trespassed on the spot, and I will immediately turn over all security footage to law enforcement for full prosecution, including criminal charges and jail time.

I’ve never had to shoot a drone, but I have dealt with hunters, surveyors, and real estate agents hovering directly over my home, <50 feet. I located every one, politely told them to stop, and they complied — except the hunters, who were referred to local law enforcement.
