@sug_knight It's a problem in almost every capitalist society on earth. This problem could be a lot more manageable if we let hospitals lose a little money, but god knows nobody is fighting for that. I'm not either, because it's pointless, thank you for coming to my TED talk.
@sug_knight Time after time hospitals have chosen to hire the absolute minimum and make them work ungodly hours to pad their bottom lines, because they are of course a business in most countries. I can already feel the 'that's an America only problem' brigade coming but don't kid yourselves.
@bigRD73@sug_knight What an idiotic string of absolute nonsense. Without nurses doctors wouldn't be able to function and hospitals would collapse in weeks, they are some of the most underpaid and overworked people in the healthcare industry while bringing the most value along with doctors.
is it healthy to just talk normally and casually after ur friend sent a whole friendship breakup message and now you’re both texting like nothing happened while actively trying not to bring it up
how about using some of that 1 trillion to actually do anything about it, or about any other problem in the world, instead of hoarding it all like some fatter version of Smaug
Extremely severe extinction events happen every 100M years or so and just switching to sustainable energy will not be enough to stop them.
Space satellites to control temperature and massive geo-engineering will be needed or it will be game over.
