Say hi to Roslindale Cyrillic – a Cyrillic extension for @djrrb ’s spectacular Roslindale.
This quirky Victorian reinterpretation of De Vinne, with its pointy serifs and bulbous terminals, turned out to be a natural fit for the Cyrillic script.

My frustration comes from the fact that in Serbian every letter has it’s own sound, and there are no words with double letters. Soo, trying to figure out spelling of certain Italian words will be the end of me
My activity on Twitter can pretty much be summed up by me opening the web page once every two months (no I do not have the app), followed by an “ahh this is interesting, I should come more often”, before leaving for another two months
If every time instead of cmd+N, I pressed cmd+B, like I intended to, all that time I spent on shutting down that new font window, I could’ve actually used on finishing these typefaces I’m working on
Four of my typefaces are now on @TypeTodayNews...I’m excited to see their Cyrillics in the spotlight!
And many thanks to Jovana Jocić (@zacan_macan) for designing Forma DJR Cyrillic, and to Jovana and @maria_doreuli for advising me on Cyrillics for Megazoid, Fit, and Input. 🙏
I’m very excited to announce that Forma DJR Cyrillic designed by me, is finally out.
This contemporary revival of Aldo Novarese’s slick neo-grotesque, now supports Cyrillic in five weights, and all optical sizes - from Micro to Banner.
Thanks @djrrb for this opportunity!
Forma DJR now supports Cyrillic, thanks to the amazing work of Jovana Jocić @zacan_macan!
I think Jovana did an incredible job interpreting not only the modernity of Nebiolo’s original design, but also its simplicity and warmth 🤩🤩🤩

Designers that caption “stay tuned for this gem” & “something special coming your way”, but it never becomes more than a single instagram post – calm down
