@thecollegehill 8 years ago, when I was still naive about tech, the accelerator I joined also invited in a high school drop building a stackoverflow slackbot whose dad was high up in facebook.
He eventually got kicked out because he was too stubborn and had fights with his teen cofounder.
These guys have clearly convinced themselves what they’re doing is important beyond human comprehension but are utterly incapable of communicating what it is. In another era we’d call it a pyramid scheme or just idolatry.
Lots of discourse about how the new Superman is immigration narrative, understandable but overstated imo. It's actually a story about how adopted people are better than everyone else.
