Sure, they could've just made a game that actually ran well on switch 1, but they're giving us what they envisioned for the games on a system that can handle it when they could've easily brushed the games off and moved on

All 3 of these are the same game in the end. Scarlet and Violet do not get this

A handful of switch 1 games are getting free updates like if you updated a game on switch 1, which can be applied whether you have it physical or digital. This is what Scarlet and Violet are getting

@Don_keyedjote @SerebiiNet I partly blame the hardware of the switch 1 not being powerful enough, but I agree that they should've just made a game that could've run smoothly on switch 1. This is why I like sword and shield so much, it has the perfect balance between looking good and performing well

@norainthefuture I get what you're saying but people who are buying the switch 2 aren't getting it just for the scarlet & violet update and people who aren't buying it are probably okay with the albeit poor performance

@BeatemupsWood I work at Walmart and my store just got our consoles in, but otherwise the switch 2 section is empty. We won't actually have them in the locked case until June 5th (I think)

@MPLNetwork At the moment, free roam, just because it's something unlike anything else in any other mario kart game. Super excited for knockout tour, but being able to wander around tracks at my own pace and complete missions seems right up my alley
