@noahs_corner He has an epiphany about the universe not really functioning karmically, he does one of the most monstrous things he’s ever done and he’s basically rewarded for it by winning at the casino
Feel like this is why people don’t really go out and party like they once did. Literally two steps out the door and you’re inside this crowdsourced panopticon we call a country getting filmed, posted and clowned on for absolutely nothing
Victor Wembanyama after being asked about his thoughts on the environment:
“Of course, I care a lot about it, and I feel a certain guilt about polluting so much as someone who flies 41 times a season.
But..I want to have an impact, and I want to counteract this negative carbon footprint through whatever impact I can, financially [or] socially, I want to have an impact for the future...Investing, yes, but not for profit.”
@AhmedBoos04 It’s so weird how people just fixate on the Konoha 11 and decided all of a sudden that this was Naruto’s definitive side cast instead of literally every other side character introduced before and after the chunin exams
@DKing19951@roycexxtrme1 I mean this just isn’t true though, idk how you think the series never gives spotlight to Jiraiya, Shikamaru, Gaara, Hiruzen, Kakashi, Tsunade, Chiyo, Guy, B, Minato, Kushina, Konan, Hashirama, even Asuma or Choji. Just because guys like Shino don’t do much doesn’t say anything
@alibrooke4ever Even if they don’t come back, I’d argue Ogilvie and Emma have had complete arcs (with room to take the arcs further, but this functions well as an end point) and this persons fixation on perpetuity in characters over narrative functionality is kind of strange
