Happy 249th birthday to the great experiment that is the USA! I am beyond proud to be a member of this great country, with its foundation on liberty, equality of opportunity, and the hope for a greater tomorrow. God bless America!
@MattWalshBlog Is this the modern day “Don’t die for Danzig”???
You’re not dumb, so don’t act like our enemies, or at the least our rivals, getting more territory is good. You’re against US involvement? Fine. But don’t act like Russia or China’s expansion isn’t a problem.
@benshapiro Debates should be easy. Ask a candidate a question, have them answer the exact question in an “I am going to achieve X by doing Y, and my opponents plan won’t work because of Z”. If they don’t answer the question, cut the mic. We don’t need 20 short stump speeches on 20 issues.
@HawleyMO@benshapiro If in the statement Biden mentioned lack of fitness for office then resignation should be strongly considered. For America, and our strength to our enemies abroad, we must support Biden to term’s end, not as Dems or Reps, but as Americans, we need unity.
@DonaldJTrumpJr One of the rising stars of this generation, and one of the brightest and most capable young minds. Her effort is second to none, and she is truly a great and good natured kid!
@DonaldJTrumpJr@RepBrianMast Thoughts and prayers to the whole family, especially the younger kids. No family, regardless of how public their life is, should have to endure this. Donald Trump is still a father and a grandfather. Disgusting work by the shooter.
@Cernovich@MattWalshBlog In light of this, I would like to know how many reports (if any occur) of attempted assassinations or credible threats to the president the secret service receive at an event like this. Is this a failed security issue, or a case of “boy who cried wolf syndrome”?
@AdamKinzinger Good, push back on any narrative that isn’t the truth. Don’t let either side co-opt this grotesque behavior for their benefit. This was nothing short of madness seen in a failed state. At the very least, this shows we have evolved presidential protections from 1963.
Assassination, or attempted assassination, of a political candidate is heinous and overall just plain atrocious. To espouse such actions is to consider the US an otherwise dysfunctional state. Thoughts and prayers to the Trump family in light of these trying times.
248 years ago our founders signed and published our Declaration of Independence, forever changing the course of history. We honor the day where we set forth our future in a struggle for men and women of all walks of life: rich and poor, regardless of race, in pursuit of liberty.
Never forget what our soldiers fought overseas for, never forget what we can do when we are united towards the common good, and never forget our history. God Bless America, and may we all remember what it is to be an American, standing side by side against the great unknown. 4/4
Eighty years ago the United States and our Allies acted with the utmost courage, honor, and resilience seen throughout history. The invasion of Normandy on #DDay is the culmination of American Exceptionalism, that we can do more and be great for the betterment of all peoples. 1/4
D-Day proves when the US works with our Allies for the betterment of the World, that we cannot be defeated. We can be the best country in the history of the world, and we can do it by protecting the world from Fascism, Communism, and promoting the right to self determination. 3/4
@charliekirk11 I don’t know where in any Constitution, state or US, it says you can’t change your vote from the primaries to the general election. What exactly needs to be fixed? What “OUTRAGE” is there besides people exercising their rights as citizens, and you disagreeing with how they do so?
@AP As a CCW holder and a gun owner, I can safely say I’m staunchly against this. Requiring someone to take a training course in firearm safety, as well as background checks should definitely be required to concealed carry. Might as well get rid of drivers licenses while we’re at it.
@amyklobuchar As a gun owner and a CCW holder, nothing scares me about stronger background checks and mental competency checks. Common sense gun safety laws only hurt people who intend to use their firearms for malicious acts. Meaningful action can take place that doesn’t infringe on the 2A.
@AdamKinzinger@charliekirk11 War is a hell I’ve never experienced, and I can’t claim to be as stalwart as those in Ukraine now. But I can say that to live with such privilege like Kirk, who encourages a nation of brave men and women to bend down to Russian oppression and war crimes, is beyond shameful.
@charliekirk11 If Russia invades Alaska, would you encourage American soldiers and civilians to lay down their arms due to the Russian masses? How pathetic to clamor so often for liberty and self defense, but now encourage a country to lay down their arms against an authoritarian aggressor.
@AdamKinzinger Skepticism about China’s intentions coupled with pragmatic understanding of what the US Gov can do is the right way to go about perceiving things here. We can only predict so much when it comes to China’s maneuverings, but that doesn’t mean we need to believe their every word.
