@lawdotcom I could see clients caring about where their lawyers are physically located in terms of a specific market, jurisdiction, etc. but why would they care whether their outside counsel is actually sitting in an office suite vs. a home office or a Starbucks? #IsTheCommuteWorthIt

@DylanBJackson @lawdotcom Now that Quinn has set the precedent, I do think some other law firms will feel comfortable following their lead. But I don't think the dominoes are all the sudden going to fall. As you say, this is more of a formalization of how QE has operated for some time.

@jordan_law21 @lawdotcom Yes! People always say that their train/car ride home was the demarcation between work and home but a) I don't think that was ever totally true and b) I don't think a commute is going to demarcate anything in this day and age of constant communication.

@lawdotcom The toothpaste isn't going back in the tube. Remote work is definitely not a panacea for work-life balance problems, but I don't see how reinstituting the commute would do anything but make matters worse. All the sudden people will stop calling "after hours"? #IsTheCommuteWorthIt

@lawdotcom Well for one thing... they LIKE it. Maybe not 5 days a week, but definitely for at least part of it. And, to directly answer the question in our hashtag, I don't see any downsides to getting rid of people's daily commutes. #IsTheCommuteWorthIt
