@TylerNeedsToPee @tylerneedstogo Hey there! I’m very much interested in Google Drive access, but I can’t DM you myself for some reason, would you mind DMing me?
@konom1045790@Emberoth@EmmaVigeland “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” It’s a particular set of values some corporations decide to pursue to one extent or another, and completely irrelevant in the context of anyone’s marriage.
@KnowingBetterYT De Re Coquinaria, a Roman cookbook from somewhere between the 1st and 5th centuries CE, or Records of the Three Kingdoms, 2nd century CE.
@MattBruenig This Supreme Court has already issued decisions (e.g. Dobbs) where they have stated outright that broader legal implications of those decisions don’t actually exist, because they said so. Whatever the reasoning, they could do that just as easily ruling on the debt ceiling.
@dmsolano99@NathanJRobinson@curaffairs@briebriejoy Great, actually, for people who oppose their politics, but that’s not relevant to this discussion.
I’ve made my point: the Freedom Caucus never had any “leverage,” because they have no actual way of forcing McCarthy to follow through if he reneges.
@dmsolano99@NathanJRobinson@curaffairs@briebriejoy That’s doesn’t answer my question. What methods are available to actually force him to implement the changes he agreed to make?
“Not voting for things he wants” doesn’t actually force him to do anything, and he’s already Speaker.
