@HaydosTweets Many indigenous traditions use hallucinogens/psychedelic drugs in spiritual ceremonies. Even people like Baba Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba have explored psilocybin and LSD. There may be many therapeutic benefits. What is the role of these substances for a spiritual seeker?
@brydaniel_ Conclusion: i hope that wasn’t condescending. Also I’m technologically incompetent so I hope the responses appeared in a coherent order. Your tweet struck me for some reason and I felt compelled to reply. In any case truth is a path less land with no ruler - find your own way. ❤️
@brydaniel_ .....Jk- just don’t feed that with anymore energy. Don’t reject it either, because resistance creates insistance, but try sitting with that feeling and being comfortable with discomfort, then go from there.
@brydaniel_ D) withdraw from the world completely and sit doing absolutely nothing at all; give some time for your mind to settle and then wait until an answer comes
E) if it’s just pure existential dread like about life and climate change you’re fucked.
@brydaniel_ .....if it’s not truly wrong say fuck it and go for it because if you truly want it bad and don’t ever go after it if it’s in your reach, you’ll die with only that on your mind
@brydaniel_ C) Ask yourself with brutal honesty if there’s anything you really, really want but push down and feel guilty about wanting or think it’s wrong to want; if it’s truly wrong (ex gonna cause a lot of harm to yourself or someone else) then figure out why you want it
@brydaniel_ Depending on what you’re referring to, I have several responses:
A) she/he doesn’t love you, bro. Cut them off.
B) make a list of things you do that make you feel like shit and then stop doing those things. Sounds like common sense but the results are incredible.
If we're lucky we have 21,000 days to live. What are you doing with your time?

If you take care of yourself you’re less likely to end up like me: having failed a course for the first time ever and feeling immense self-loathing. It’s not fun. Take care of yourself.
Hey kids be smart and take care of yourself - drink enough water, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, read for leisure, eat nourishing foods. It has a huge impact on your mood and cognition.
First year of uni is a big transition; self-care is key.
