Depressing but realistic assessment of the future.
This article by Trammell and Dwarkesh should be a compulsory reading for anyone concerned about wealth accumulation, inequalities and how capital will likely interact with labour.
It accords with my view that we are entering a world of rapidly declining returns on humans and exponential returns on digital and intangible capital.
In my books I described it as the recipe for wealth inequality gravitating toward 1, or in other words, it is the easiest time ever to become a billionaire or sink into poverty, at least relatively.
Choose wisely!
As we mark Yaum e Takbeer day I would recommend an important book to read. Zamir Akram’s The Security Imperative: Pakistan’s Nuclear Deterrence and Diplomacy, which is a compelling account of the country’s quest for a nuclear capability in which diplomacy played a key role.
