On behalf of their client, Zara Sultana, Bindmans Media and Information Law Practise Group requires that I publish the following statement on X, and that such statement must be clearly visible and pinned to my
profile for a continuous period of no less than 24 hours:
“On 30 March 2026, I published a post on my X account addressed to Zarah Sultana in which I stated that she encourages and incites violence and is friends with terrorists.
Those statements are false. I was wrong and offer my sincere apologies to Ms Sultana for the harm and distress caused to her.”
It is my very great pleasure to do this, and I reiterate my sincere and repeated offer to meet with Miss Zara Sultana in person to resolve our differences.
Excellent piece. Honestly? I have never viewed football this way.
I like how you understand certain things at the highest level. I watch alot of football, but this is genuinely next level.
Great article as always, Dom. God bless.
Europeans were unbearably foul-smelling due to extreme filth.
The envoy of Tsarist Russia even described the King of France, Louis XIV, saying: “His smell was worse than that of a wild animal.” One of his mistresses, Madame de Montespan, would soak herself in perfume so she would not have to smell the king.
The Russians themselves were described by the traveler Ahmad ibn Fadlan as “the filthiest of God’s creation; they do not cleanse themselves after urinating or defecating.” It is also said that Tsar Peter would urinate against the palace wall in front of people.
Queen Isabella I, who killed Muslims in Al-Andalus, reportedly bathed only twice in her life and destroyed the Andalusian bathhouses.
King Philip II of Spain allegedly banned bathing altogether in his country, and his daughter Isabella II swore not to change her undergarments until the end of a city’s siege, which lasted three years — and she died because of it.
This is about the kings — not to mention the common people.
The famous French perfumes for which Paris became known were invented to overpower the stench. Because of this filth, diseases spread among them, and the plague would come and wipe out half or a third of them periodically. The largest European cities such as Paris and London, at most, reached populations of 30 or 40 thousand according to the highest estimates, while Islamic cities exceeded one million inhabitants.
The French historian Dribar says:
“We Europeans owe the Arabs (meaning the Muslims) for the comforts of our public life. The Muslims taught us how to maintain bodily cleanliness. They were the opposite of Europeans, who did not change their clothes until they became dirty and foul-smelling. We began to imitate them in removing and washing our garments. Muslims wore clean, bright clothes, and some even adorned them with precious stones such as emeralds, rubies, and coral. Cordoba was known to have three hundred bathhouses, while European churches regarded bathing as an act of disbelief and sin.”
Credit goes to Muslim travelers and expatriates.
The term “bathroom” in English is said to commemorate Muhammad Bath, the Indian Muslim who taught them in his time how to bathe and maintain cleanliness.

We can only say: Praise be to God for the blessing of Islam — and sufficient is it as a blessing.
Say what you like about Banksy, but with these two pictures, he's managed to sum up the attitude of 'British democracy' to free speech when it comes to Israel and the genocide in Gaza.
Trotsky once said that art must tell the truth. I'd say he's met that standard.
During this election, GB News, the Telegraph, Jewish Chronicle & other news outlets have framed Muslims voting in the #GeneralElection2024 as “sectarian”, “extremists”, antisemites and constantly questioned their loyalty to Britain.

Spanish Vice-President, Yolanda Díaz, on the recognition of the state of Palestine: “We can't stop here. Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea”
My beloved brother and my hero Wael El-Dahdouh.
Visiting him in his home when I thought I’d only ever meet him in the eternal home we seek was beyond emotion. What do you say to a brother who has lost his mother, wife, kids, grandkids in a genocide for daring to report the truth, yet never once wavers. I’ve never met anyone like him before. Not a word except praise, and not a thought of ever quitting. As his arm heals, his heart aches, yet not a word of complaint. Not a doubt of Allah’s promise of reward, or reunion with his loved ones, or the victory of Gaza.
As the time for prayer came, he insisted I lead. How could I be worthy to read words in front of a man who manifests them behind me. As we sit and I inquire, he says to me in his eloquent Arabic, “how can a man complain about His Lord when He is Al Rahman (the Most Merciful) Al Kareem (the Most Generous) Al Wadud (the Most Loving). I never sought Him through one of His names except that He opened many of His doors.”
And as we sit and hope, his phone starts to ring. The tragedy in Rafah unfolds. The worry overcomes his face. And in every moment of our lives, our hearts still all reside in Palestine. May Allah free it soon, and reunite us with all of its heroes in the highest level of Paradise. Ameen
