UPDATE: The United States is deploying the largest warship in the world, the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier to the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Hamas has just warned the US that moving the aircraft carrier into the region does not scare them and that the Biden administration must realize the consequences of this step.

Let's just hope things don't continue to escalate. America will certainly back Israel and the Israeli people.

NEW: Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu tells Gaza residents to “GET OUT NOW” as he vows to use all IDF capabilities to destroy Hamas.

“We will win this war, but the price will be unbearably heavy. Hamas wants to murder us all,” Netanyahu said.

“Murdering children and mothers in their homes, in their beds. It is an enemy that kidnaps elderly people, children, young girls.”

“What happened today has never been seen before in Israel and I will ensure it never happens again. The entire government supports this decision. The IDF will immediately use all its power to destroy Hamas’s capabilities.”

“We will fight them to the bitter end and avenge this black day they plotted for Israel and its people.”

As Israelis were celebrating a Jewish holy day with friends and family, the Hamas terror organization launched an unprovoked war against Israel and its civilians, firing thousands of rockets, infiltrating numerous Israeli border towns, butchering civilians and kidnapping Israelis. The scenes on the ground are horrific and the number of Israeli casualties is high as Hamas continues to commit war crimes.

Prior to last night’s attack, Israel was in the middle of an effort to significantly expand humanitarian support for the civilians of Gaza, including the nearly 20,000 workers who come in to Israel every day. As always, Hamas continues to demonstrate its lack of care for the well-being of Gaza’s civilians.

Hamas is a U.S. and E.U. designated terror organization and a close ally of Iran. Iran’s hands are evidently behind the scenes, leading the so-called Axis of Resistance to Israel's existence.

Those of our enemies who believe that Israel is weak because of its internal debate have totally miscalculated. When under attack, Israelis close ranks and join together in fighting for Israel’s self-defense.

Those who calculated that by waging war they can undermine the efforts to expand the circle of peace in the Middle East will be proven wrong. Everyone who has a stake in peace and normalization in the Middle East should support an outcome that would deal a blow to Iran and its proxies.

Now is not the time for fence-sitting. The international community must unequivocally stand up and condemn this heinous, unprovoked attack on civilians. There is no implicit excuse or justification for the atrocities that Hamas has committed.

I thank President Biden and the United States Congress for their steadfast, bipartisan support for Israel and its right to defend itself.

This is war. We will fight to win and deter the terrorists from any future attacks.

Israel is under attack.

Several hours ago, Hamas - a U.S. and E.U. designated terror organization - launched an unprovoked, massive terror attack on Israeli civilian populated areas, including mass firing of rockets and infiltrations into Israeli towns from the Gaza Strip.

This offensive was launched while Israelis were celebrating a religious Jewish holiday.

The attack cannot and will not go unanswered, and we expect the free world to unequivocally condemn it and support Israel's right to self defense.

Exactly 50 years ago to the day, Israel was attacked by surprise by its neighbors in what became the Yom Kippur War. As we speak, a major surprise attack is happening again in Israel with thousands of rockets being fired within the past few hours and a terrorist ground infiltration in the Gaza border communities and Southern Israel.
