This is a very rare recording featuring the original line-up: Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Matthieu Hartley, and Lol Tolhurst. In this performance, Robert Smith and Simon Gallup switched instruments — Robert is playing bass while Simon takes the guitar.
A true gem of gothic rock / post-punk history. 🖤

John Paul Jones. Unsung hero of Led Zeppelin. Stayed in the shadows but gave so much.

He suggested adding the recorders to Stairway and played them on the track. He arranged the orchestra on Kashmir.

A fantastic bassist and a great songwriter. Hats off to John Paul Jones!
