I have said this before, and I believe it is important to remind Nigerians of my position as we approach 2027.
Peter Obi has my support for the presidency.
But my position is clear, I am not supporting the idea of Peter Obi becoming somebody else’s Vice President.
The day Peter Obi accepts a Vice Presidential position, I will walk away from his corner. I have said this plainly, and I stand by it.
My concern is not about personalities. It is about the kind of leadership Nigeria needs and the direction in which we want our country to go.
I have also argued that we should begin to rethink the age of those seeking executive office. The Nigerian presidency should not become a retirement home for politicians.
I believe there should be a serious national conversation about limiting presidential and gubernatorial candidates to those aged 70 or below.
Nigeria needs leadership that is focused on the future, not simply another cycle of political succession.
These are principles I have stated publicly, and Nigerians should judge them for themselves.
@BO_Mayor The loan was at the instance of the Federal government, although available was never drawn by him. If it wasn't drawn there will be no be debt servicing. There may be fees paid for keeping the line of credit open and those may have been paid by the FAAC.
@firstladyship The incumbent govt of the state will provide the premise for his immediate predecessor to be arrested and quizzed by the relevant authorities at the federal level. In their attempt to pass judgment on this him, they have laid the groundwork for them to be judged!
@ARISEtv These individuals lack the courage to demand fairness in the Nigerian democratic experience. Every geopolitical zone has had someone at the top of the executive branch; why is the South East different? Does this govt have sometime on you? No clean hands, no equity!
@ARISEtv A Doctor of Philosophy or MD, an agent of a principal with questionable credentials, and a character flaw, is willfully engaging in a campaign of calumny. What a moral failure of conscience!
Today in London, I continued consultations centered on Nigeria's future with some shareholders.
Our conversations centered on economic partnerships, strengthening institutional frameworks, and unlocking potential locked within Nigeria's vibrant youth demographic.
A recurring theme in all my discussions was the urgent necessity of transforming Nigeria from a consumer economy into a productive economy. This structural shift relies entirely on intentional investments in human capital—specifically health, education, and enterprise. We must forge a society where merit, integrity, and competence are celebrated and rewarded, leaving behind the era of nepotism and compromise.
While our current challenges are profound, they pale in comparison to the boundless resilience and determination of our people.

A New Nigeria Across Borders: My Visit to Italy
As part of my ongoing visits to several countries in continuation of my consultations, meetings, and constructive exchanges of ideas on national rebirth, I arrived in Italy this morning.
I had the privilege of engaging with key stakeholders and leaders. We held fruitful discussions on economic collaboration, institutional development, and matters critical to Nigeria’s progress, with a particular focus on the immense potential of our vast youthful population.
During these various meetings, I reiterated our core conviction to move Nigeria from consumption to production through sustained investments in education, healthcare, and enterprise development. We must build a functional society where young people are given genuine opportunities to prosper. A nation that values its talent must reward competence, character, and integrity over criminality, connections, and nepotism.
Though our national obstacles are immense, the collective capacity and resilience of our people are infinitely greater.
Leaving Italy tonight, I remain encouraged by the ideas shared and the collective determination of both the international community and our citizens everywhere to see Nigeria work for everyone.

Daddy Freeze says all the people who used to follow Peter Obi are no longer there. Well, people come and people go; that is life.
But coming from someone who has always had plenty to say about loyalty and double standards, the irony is rather interesting.
One would have expected someone who prides himself on maintaining good friendships and associations, even with people of high repute like Hushpuppi,🤔 to be the last person giving us a lecture on abandoning people. If loyalty was truly the standard, we should have been seeing you standing firmly by your old friends and advocating for them, not quickly moving on to the next Cash App when the relationship stops being convenient. 😂
So when some people move on from Peter Obi, perhaps it is simply the same thing you have demonstrated in your own circle: people move, relationships change, and yesterday’s friend can become yesterday’s story.
The difference is that you seem to want your own departures understood as life, while everyone else’s is labelled disloyalty.
That, Daddy Freeze, is the double standard you keep teaching us about. ..... Free The Sheeple 😫
When Tinubu’s reign is done, hopefully soon, you will all be thankful to God for his service. BECAUSE of Tinubu, moral ambiguities have been vaporized and the capacity for hypocritical posturing has been forever lost. History SEES where we stand..😊
In the course of my engagements with Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, many of them have sought my opinion on investing in the ongoing Dangote Petroleum Refinery Initial Public Offering.
While encouraging them to buy, I must say that I remain very proud of the commitment and breakthrough of Alhaji Aliko Dangote's investment in the real sector of our country’s economy, across different sectors. This validates my position that we should move Nigeria from consumption to production.
I, therefore, encourage other Nigerian businesses to invest in the productive sectors of the Nigerian economy and also give fellow Nigerian citizens the opportunity to be part of the re-industrialization of the country by offering their shares to the public through public offerings. -PO
