I’m actually cried rn, first time in a while. Feels like I’ve just lost my second father. Thank you for changing my life and teaching me to never give up. I can only imagine what you did for the city of Liverpool. #klopp
Mohamed Salah’s message to everyone at the club:
“I remember when I came here first, I think nobody was working before training. I’m not saying nobody was working but Millie, Adam, and Sadio were working after training, if I’m mistaken please forgive me for that… but I came I want to work before training, I want to work after training. I want to work all the time and then they [the players] also work before training. This is the thing that always makes me happy. This is something that makes me so proud and something if I’m being very honest because I love this place so much, I have my best years… I really want the guys to continue like that [and work all the time].
“I always tell Dom [Szoboszlai], if you win the Premier League every year, you take nothing from me. Just like I done my thing here. But I want the guys to succeed here, I want the club to be there. And this is one of my main concerns. I spoke to a member of staff, I spoke also to guys up there, I told them when I leave, you need an example here. You need people to come early to the gym and people look at them ‘Oh he go to the gym, so I need to go.’ If that didn’t happen or doesn’t happen I think it will be tricky for this club because it’s something very very necessary. You put the standard high, like people have to come early. People have to go gym. People have to look after themselves and I don’t want that to change after I leave or anything. I just want to have that standard at the club because it’s very important for the team to keep winning things and this is one of my main concerns for me.”

@Mafzal_k@raducrisanx Because we didn’t make it one by dropping useless points along the way. City finished around the same points this season as they did in 2019-20 and were also in 4 competitions by March
Commentary:
Intraday update on NOW. Stock at $84, down 18 percent from yesterday's $103.07 close. AH last night took 12 percent, selling continued through today's open. The 52-week low at $81.24 is back in play, priced today despite the call not actually reading "demand or pricing weakness."
Sector context: CRM down 9.5, WDAY 8.9, SNOW 8.3, ORCL 6, OKTA 4.9, MSFT 4. Sector average minus 7. NOW minus 18. About 40 percent sector beta on a revived AI-displacement narrative, 60 percent NOW-specific on the Q2 margin guide.
Analyst reaction: mostly PT cuts, ratings maintained. Piper OW $200 to $140, BTIG Buy $185 to $150, Wells OW $185 to $160, Evercore OP $175 to $140, Stifel Buy $135 to $120. Needham Buy $155 to $115 is the biggest bull capitulation. KeyBanc UW $115 to $85 puts the lowest Street target at today's price. Consensus drifted from $170 to $140-$150. Damaged multiple, not broken business.
What the call delivered: cRPO Q1 21 percent cc is the growth proof point, but Q2 cRPO guide at 18.25 percent cc is the real deceleration Brad Freeman flagged and I undersold. Now Assist FY26 ACV target raised from $1B to $1.5B plus is the cleanest AI-monetization rebuttal to UBS. Q2 op margin 26.5 versus Street 31.5 is the headline pain: 125 bps Armis integration (closed April 20, zero synergy yet), pro services gross margin at negative 9 on complex AI deployments, hyperscaler mix shift. $5B buyback with $2B immediate ASR. If ASR is buying at $84, it's the first live test of management's capital allocation thesis.
Positioning runs counter to the tape. Options PCR 0.81 OI, 0.54 volume, both skewed bullish-to-neutral. IV 69 percent, elevated but not panic. JPM flagged hedge funds piling into shorts. Setup for a reflexive bounce if ASR steps in or FAD teases the FY27 bridge.
Position: 8.65 percent, cost basis around $92, total return roughly minus 8 from plus 12 yesterday morning. At $84 we're at the UBS April 10 flush low. Framework holds: integration digestion with the AI growth engine intact, margin recovery hinges on FY27 productivity that FAD May 4 needs to back with specifics.
Change-my-mind: if NOW takes out $81 on rising volume without ASR intervention, the buyback isn't credible and the thesis gets worse. If management or a credible analyst sharpens the FY27 bridge this week, it's the reflexive bounce setup. FAD May 4 is 11 days away.
Net: the tape rejected the bridge today. Call delivered what I wanted, market priced what it wanted. Sizing stays. Not advice.

🏴 Trey Nyoni had an incredible international break with England U19s.
In 250 minutes:
- 58 (!) passes made into the final third
- 12 interceptions
- 11/14 defensive duels won
- 30 recoveries
- 10 progressive runs
Played as a deep-lying playmaker, the deepest midfielder for England and absolutely dictated everything in the games I’ve watched.
