Menurut Afiqah, bapanya meninggal dunia selepas tertidur usai menunaikan solat Subuh.

Kata Afiqah, Allahyarham ditemui tidak sedarkan diri oleh ibunya ketika masuk ke bilik tidur sebelum disahkan meninggal dunia di rumah.

BREAKING: MAJOR EXPLOSION AT CHERNOBYL

Two explosions destroyed Reactor No. 4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant caused by flawed design and human error during a safety test. A sudden steam explosion (estimated ~20–30 s after scram) destroyed much of the core.

This was quickly followed (2–3 s later) by a more powerful second explosion (from hydrogen buildup or prompt criticality). Observers reported a tall fireball and red-hot graphite chunks ejected from the core.

A note in the operating log for 01:24 records: “Severe shocks; the control rods stopped moving before reaching the bottom stops; power clutch mechanism is off.”. (This confirms the lid blew off ~1:24 and rods jammed.)

One worker on the roof was killed and another mortally injured by these explosions.
