@MattWalshBlog Even if they implemented that, I don’t think that there would be a way of preventing them from making themselves look older. I think if they want it badly enough, they’re going to try and find a way around whatever system is put up
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess I think both are necessary. We can’t be so focused on how we look on the outside that we forget that our own character may be shoddy, but we also can’t be so focused on our own person that we forget about others. We need to care about the community but also our own character
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess You’re right. Nothing can separate us from Christ once we are in Him. I missed that. Maybe separate was the wrong word, but that still doesn’t make sin ok
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess If you’re actively engaging in any kind of sexual immorality, including ones like an lgbtq lifestyle, you are in sin and are separated from God
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess If you’re actively living an lgbtq lifestyle and calling yourself a Christian, you’re the kind of person that other Christians are told to not associate with. Any kind of sex that’s not between a man and woman who are married is a sin. This includes lust and masturbation
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess I don’t know anyone that’s mastered that list. I sure haven’t, but that’s not the point. If you don’t think any sin regardless of what it is doesn’t separate you from God, you don’t even know the gospel let alone the rest of the Bible
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess That’s not an opinion. The Bible makes it clear the if you’re actively engaging in any sin, but especially these, and still calling yourself a Christian, you aren’t supposed to be associated with
@angry_hopeful@KHodgess Except she’s right. Those are sins no matter how you try and slice it. Not everyone is going to heaven either unless they repent of their sins and accept Christ’s atoning sacrifice
