To date, St. Paul has used $100,000 to erase $40 million in medical debt owed to Fairview Health by 32,000 residents citywide, and a chunk of that went to mailings and administrative costs. More health systems are on board. And here they are: https://t.co/gO28yXpbKu #MedicalDebt
trump is a nightmare, but his policies are not unique or unprecedented or even singularly republican. there is a war on unhoused people happening across the country and it’s very much bipartisan.
I should add that in 2023, Minneapolis city council voted unanimously to provide portapotties and handwashing stations to all encampments in the city. But Jacob Frey’s executive branch came back and said “no, we won’t do that.”
Harris could’ve had all the votes from Stein and it still wouldn’t have been sufficient to beat Trump. Harris didn’t lose to Stein and third party candidates. She lost to the obstinacy of her campaign and an administration whose legacy will be a genocide.
This is a very important story.
It carefully explains why elections in NV may not be decided Election Night because of outstanding mail ballots. It's called the law. But that won't stop a candidate frm declaring victory on Election Night.
Not that any candidate would do that.
MPLS PASSES HERC RESOLUTION UNANIMOUSLY!
Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this happen.
Now it is up to Hennepin County to set a closure date + support a process of restitution for the harm caused by HERC.

This guy threatened to do to a liberal on live TV what the Democratic party supported zionist terrorists doing to Lebanese people in front of the whole world with no consequences — blowing them up. Y’all sound pretty awful right now.
