@the_hindu @ShadowzAndDust Poverty estimated in recently published paper by Foundation of Agrarian studies is more likely to be correct one. Because it applies the principles of Rangarajan poverty line formula rather than just extrapolating the 2011-12 money metric poverty line.

Child Nutrition in India: Stunting has become singular indicator of focus. But Indian children face serious disadvantage in Wasting. Can we argue -- India Children are genetically dispossessed for lower body mass for a given height.

@mukeshpunia_ @epw_in @APanagariya but can we argue that Indian children are genetically dispossessed for low body weight for height? Indian children suffer even more greatly on this indicator. The Wasting gap b/w Indian states and Sub-Saharan African countries is way more than the stunting gap.
