Our budget letter on Friday sparked a lot of emotion. Many in the Ames community do not want the University to stop funding the subsidy of community member's tickets to performing arts events. We thought this statement may provide more clarity to the challenge we all face.
@Redfox0621 @ChiSportUpdates@JCowleyHoops Man.. idk. The last decade history makes me feel like he’ll be back somehow but with this new guy, I hope you gets fired
@nat_larimer we have the Lord’s Word, guidance, strength, & love can be relied on fully to eliminate any anxiety at any time but especially now during these trying times.Rom 8:37-39,John 10:25-30,Psalm 136.Put your trust in Christ’s work for you on the cross & lay down all worries at His feet
@nat_larimer We are able to reach everyone fairly easily. I do agree with the article that meeting in person is better but it sounds like many churches are trying to safely reach as many as possible. Our meeting was about fear today as well. It’s natural to have fear but thankfully 1/2
@nat_larimer I’m not sure. That’s a good question. I’ll ask them but if I had to guess, everyone who comes to our church regularly has a device. We record our messages all the time, including the Zoom ones, and have made audio recordings for people who can’t make it in the past.
@nat_larimer We’ve been meeting on Zoom for our church meetings. We had a prayer meeting on Wed. evenings and had a meeting today. Our speaker today was able to show his PowerPoint while he spoke. Not the same as meeting in person but still able to share and pray with one another
