@QuestTheLine I’ll be more plain clothes but I’ll keep an eye out for you! Let’s just say that I feel like I need to pass on the ashbringer because my body is broken after wearing him all day 😂 but it was so worth it.
@ericspitlerart I had a question for you, I know you worked on the original knights designs for Diablo did you work on any of the others? I am trying to find some reference material for Grigoire boss and some of the new burned knights from voh. Any help would be appreciated.

@ericspitlerart Thanks! It was crazy to do and I love how it’s turned out I just hope I can share it with other people and maybe inspire others to try those crazier builds.
@ericspitlerart https://t.co/wJhTpms2nF I have created a photo dump of all of the photos I have of the build process here, I will slowly continue to write a build log about it as time permits me :)
Some more bounce around photos, showing more the how to fit into this monster I opted not to do the internal spikes as I had originally planned to have it open and to be all bloody inside, but making it open up was a hard design to accomplish and I did not have enough time…
Many tests and tweaks and constant head scratching moments along with a weeee bit of stress and the mounting system for a massive suit of armor was discovered and implemented along with another set of template making #vigobuild
When costumes come from video games they are not always designed in the easiest of ways to translate so it all starts with a template and the first scale tests… one can only hope that those first tests are correct but usually they are not! #vigobuild
Framework is laid and parts fit but some do not and they need minor adjustments or tweaks and you just think to yourself should I stop this or have I come to far? Friends push you and others say you do you but alas we press on and figure out new working ideas #vigobuild
Then you skip
Ahead to days later and you don’t know where the time went and you don’t get photos of everything because you are just racing to get things done when you finally get another person to help build so here we have photos of different parts along the process #vigobuild
It then becomes a matter of making sure things fit correctly… and you try and you hope but you never know til your build the actual test piece… templating things is hit and miss sometimes #vigobuild
Best place to start for me was from the ground up I thought so, I started with a Boot and worked my way up from there… I can say this much pepakura works but it is time consuming… I could have 3D printed this but the scale I found out was massive…
