@Cedefop The World Skills Conference 2024 kicked off today in Lyon, France. It is the 47th World Skills competition to support young Competitors from all over the world. I represented CEDEFOP to a panel discussion on Internationalisation with centres of vocational excellence.
During the Delphi Economic Forum IX, I also had the opportunity to meet Ms Ugochi Daniels, Deputy Director General for Operations of the International Organization for Migration, Switzerland, and present briefly our work at Cedefop. @Cedefop
Happy to represent Cedefop to this year's Delphi Economic Forum IX. I participated to a very interesting panel discussion on 'Empowering the Future Workforce - The Importance of Vocational Training' addressing the challenges VET is facing in Greece @Cedefop
▶️ Starting: the 21st annual plenary meeting of #ReferNet, Cedefop's network of institutions to provide information on national #vocational education and training (#VET) systems and policies in the 🇪🇺 #EU Member States, 🇮🇸 Iceland and 🇳🇴 Norway.
🔸🔹 #ReferNet’s contribution was instrumental during the #coronavirus crisis and the war in Ukraine. It mobilised national #VET networks, provided first-hand information + examples of good practices and helped policy makers to address challenges.
