"What radicalized you?"
Watching my female relatives plan, cook, shop, decorate, clean, and organize for the holidays while the men just show up and watch TV the whole time.
Suddenly, you're 27.
You make your coffee, rush to work, come home around 7, and you're too tired to do anything except eat, scroll on your phone, and pass out.
Then you wake up, and do it all again.
And when Friday comes, maybe you go out, or maybe you're just too tired. Then, out of nowhere, it hits you.
How did everything pass by so quickly?
You don't even feel 27.
You still feel like that 17 year old kid who thought they had all the time in the world.
But somehow, 10 years just disappeared. And you start missing the past. The feeling of being young, excited, and clueless.
But then you realize, one day, you'll miss this, too.
Being 25, being confused, being tired, but still trying.
So maybe the trick is to slow down a bit and actually live this chapter before it also becomes just another memory.
The point is no matter what age you are, you’ll miss these days. Life gets busy sometimes and it’s always a good time to stop and smell the roses.
Your wife or ur girlfriend is the only person who has ever loved you exactly who u are. Ur mother loves u because ur her son,ur siblings love u bcos ur their brother, ur children love u bcos ur their father. U and ur partner aren't related. She's not connected to u. She chose u.
The best decision I ever made was marrying you, @MichelleObama. For 33 years, I’ve admired your strength, grace, and determination — and the fact that you look so good doing it all. Happy anniversary!
The heartbreak
Trump wants us to believe that USAID is bankrupting America—when in reality, it’s less than 1% of the federal budget.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk—the richest man on Earth—is gutting the world’s largest provider of food aid. This is a man who could end world hunger single-handedly and still be the richest man alive. But he won’t.
We are watching evil at work.
Today, President Trump rescinded Executive Order 14087 signed by former President Biden in October 2022.
What did Executive Order 14087 do?
It lowered drug costs for Americans on Medicare and Medicaid—working class Americans.
This only benefits big pharma.
