Starting in June, Roblox creators must pay 1,000 Robux for every game they want to publish to all users.
Previously, Roblox Plus was required to publish games to users under 16. You won’t have to pay this fee if you're subscribed to Plus for 2 consecutive months.
Roblox will refund the Robux publishing fee in full after 3 months if your game is still active and has not received any moderation action.
This fee will not apply to existing games that were already published to all ages before this change.
WHY is the Roblox community shocked? Y’all would screenshot random rage bait games made by some edgy 14 yr old called “Escape epstein diddy island obby!!” with 21 visits & an empty baseplate, then post it to socials with misleading captions like: “LOOK WHAT ROBLOX ALLOWED! 😱”
Shipping source maps to npm in production is such a classic DevOps oversight that it's almost poetic. The irony of an AI company that builds the most sophisticated coding assistant making a rookie deployment mistake will never not be funny. Security starts at the build pipeline, not the model.
@Muatex@Roblox_RTC Yeah wasn’t aware, it was still using the Basic Rich Presence that detects which executable is running, so it seems like Discord made an exception for Roblox and added extra detection themselves
