@jbcarmody I wonder if use of the “no match” code is going up. When couples add additional pairs to the end of their list reflecting each person’s individual list. This does increase costs though due to all the additional ranks

I care deeply for my patients. Sometimes that means staying after sign out for a hard conversation I want to take responsibility for. Other times it means going home at a reasonable hour so I can be well reserved. Suffering in the name of medicine is not the flex you think it is!

@PedsPlntsPepprs This tweet makes me feel conflicted. I completely agree that no one should feel unimportant and having the strength to do that makes you a great 👶🏼iatrician, but I also think it’s okay to draw a line somewhere without beating ourselves up. Just my 2¢ 🤷‍♂️

@Supermansings @DGlaucomflecken The main thing I learned about cases was how long they usually took. Then I would scrub into short cases in the AM so I could spend the afternoon on consults where I could, you know, actually LEARN stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
