@srpierce14 It is and it isn’t. I’ve always said that playoff series are a coin flip but It’d be interesting to strip out WC series and games between teams w similar records to see if the gap widens. The percentage being basically 50-50 is surprising tho

2018 - 25% chance for a pennant
2019 - 12.5%
2020 - missed playoffs
2021 - 25%
2023 - 12.5%

That amounts to a 32% chance to not win a pennant in that timespan
