@soniacoad97@jeremyrockliff Federal money is for infrastructure projects, not housing or healthcare. If it doesn’t get spent on infrastructure in Tasmania, it’ll be spent on infrastructure in another state.
@RoyceDrozd@chrisroww@abchobart@abcsport But where are the No Stadium people? Can’t we build at least a few houses and hospitals with this money? Or is it only money set aside for football? or stadiums? or Hobart?
@chrisroww@abchobart@abcsport So will there be the same financial scrutiny over this sporting development in Launceston as the stadium in Hobart?
Or is it just football?
Or is it just Hobart?
@BigOlThommo@BelieveTasmania Within 2 years of memberships opening they’ll have more members than Gold Coast. Not sure where Giants are with their membership count.
@lithgowflashman Latrobe and Devonport have bike tracks and won’t get AFL approval.
North Hobart ground size and surface not up to AFL standard.
Haven’t been there but Twin Ovals have been suggested.
@Syzlak_@abcnews Is it a recent rule? West Indies were struggling and Chris Gale, and others, refused to play for the national team but played T20 comps around the word. I believe claiming $ as the issue.
Vale Neil Maynard, Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame Inductee #204.
One of the state’s greatest full backs, Maynard won six premierships across 323 senior games with @NLFC_Bombers, also representing the NTFA 18 times.
Our thoughts are with Neil’s family and friends at this time.
@JaneCaro@abc730 Please don’t measure all independent school against the “rich A- lister” schools in major cities. Visit small independent schools in the regional areas.
@hasumpstuffedup Pragmatic pies supporter. Bad calls both ways during game. Here Duncan takes possession then looks to push Daicos off with right arm. That to me is his prior. Drops ball when tackled.
If the new interpretation to head high tackles is that it’s not a free kick if the ”tacklee” contributes to the illegal tackle, then the same interpretation must apply if a player puts themselves in a position to be pushed in the back, held without the ball etc etc.
