People reveal themselves in small patterns. I keep seeing the same seven.
1. If you stop starting the conversation and it goes quiet, that person was using you for company, not building anything with you.
2. If someone keeps cutting you down and calling it a joke, they are checking how much disrespect you will accept.
3. If they blow up over a small, fair point, the fight is rarely about the point. It is usually about something they do not want to admit.
4. A decent heart is not a weakness. People who treat others badly still have to live with what they did. Your calm can come back.
5. The person who can do the most damage is often close: sitting with you, smiling, and hoping you fail.
6. If you have to keep proving you matter, they already decided you do not. You do not need a speech. You can leave.
7. The strongest mind is the one that does not take the bait. When you stop reacting on command, you become hard to steer.
I learned most of this the slow way, not from a quote card.
If one of these showed up in your life, say which one. I am interested in the story, not a number.
There was a part on that video where the king threatened to stop giving MaMyeni money, it immediately reminded me why generations of women fought so hard for the right to work, own property, earn their own income, and participate fully in society. Economic independence was never just about having a career or proving you “don’t need a man.” It was about dignity. It was about ensuring that no woman’s survival could ever be held hostage by a man’s wallet. Regardless of what happens between them, moments like these are a reminder of why financial independence will always matter.‼️‼️
Love isn't enough for me anymore. I need you to respect me. I need you to support me. I need you to reassure me. I need to know you won't give up on me. I need you to value me. I need you to be gentle with me. I need to feel safe with you sol can be the softest version of me.
Me apaixonei por essa frase:
Se você ganha o seu próprio dinheiro e faz tudo por si mesma, um homem não tem muito a oferecer além do caráter, dos valores e da forma como te trata.
You're right bro, Christianity brainwashed me. I want to spend the rest of my life with one person, pray for those who hate me, forgive easily, raise a beautiful family, stay away from gossip, and find true purpose in Jesus.
The reason a lot of moms don’t do this is they understand one fundamental thing, you are not leaving your most precious thing in the world with a person that has shown you they can hate you more than they love them. .
Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you “feel” inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more.
But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he can’t understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in.
So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise !
“14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”
Psalm 71:14.
You are BLESSED 🙂
People be knowing they wrong. But instead of being grown about it, apologizing, or taking accountability… they’ll flip the whole situation and act like you did something to them. I done seen people try to make me feel like I was the problem in situations they started. I done watched folks blame me just to avoid admitting they moved foul. And that’s why I can’t respect certain people… not even a little bit. If you can’t own what you did, if you gotta lie just to feel right, we not the same. I stand on what I do. I fix what I mess up. And that’s the difference between us.
