Four-and-a-half-year-old Mustafa Safi has suffered since birth from a rare and serious genetic disorder known as xeroderma pigmentosum (XP). The condition severely increases his sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) radiation and puts him at risk of serious complications, including skin lesions and tumors.
Mustafa’s condition requires continuous specialized treatment and medical follow-up. Doctors have recommended that he be transferred to a specialized medical center outside the Gaza Strip to receive the necessary care.
Mustafa urgently needs intervention to facilitate his evacuation and access to the treatment he needs before his condition deteriorates further, giving him a chance to live safely like other children.

“I wish I could see”—this was little Sarah Mousa’s heartfelt wish to regain her sight and experience the world again after an injury caused her to lose her vision. Although she was eventually evacuated abroad for medical treatment, time ran out before she could heal. Sarah passed away leaving her dream unfulfilled, while thousands of injured children in Gaza still wait and hope for a chance to survive.

"نفسي أشوف".. هكذا كانت تتمنى الطفلة سارة موسى ببراءة أن تستعيد بصرها وترى العالم بعينيها مجدداً، بعدما أدت إصابتها إلى فقدانها بصرها. على الرغم من حصولها لاحقاً على فرصة للسفر وتلقي العلاج بالخارج، إلا أن الوقت لم يكن كافياً لتلتحق بأمل الشفاء. رحلت سارة وبقي حلمها معلقاً، بينما يواجه آلاف الأطفال المصابين في غزة ذات الظروف الصعبة بانتظار فرصة النجاة.

The infant Miral Adnan Abu Hmeisa is suffering from a critical and dangerous health condition resulting from severe heart problems and high pulmonary hypertension. This condition causes frequent and severe drops in oxygen, weakness in the heart muscle, and a rapid heart rate reaching 80 beats. This continuous deterioration has also affected the child’s brain, leading to constant neurological seizures that her frail body cannot bear, amidst a complete inability by the hospital to provide specialized treatment or anything beyond simple painkillers and basic supplies like a cannula. Although an urgent medical referral was issued for her more than two months ago, she is still waiting in vain and without any ability to travel for treatment outside Gaza.
Therefore, we appeal to all competent authorities, humanitarian institutions, and international organizations to intervene immediately and urgently to save the life of the child Miral, and to facilitate her travel to receive treatment before it is too late.

تعاني الرضيعة مرال عدنان أبو هميسة من وضع صحي حرج للغاية وخطير، جراء إصابتها بمشاكل خطيرة في القلب وارتفاع حاد في ضغط الشريان الرئوي. تتسبب هذه الحالة بنقص متكرر وحاد في الأكسجين، وضعف في عضلة القلب، وتسارع في دقاته يصل إلى 80 نبضة. وقد امتد التدهور ليشمل دماغ الطفلة، مما أدى إلى تعرضها لتشنجات عصبية مستمرة لا يتحملها جسدها النحيل، وسط عجز تام في المستشفى عن تقديم العلاج المتخصص أو توفير غير المسكنات البسيطة والمستلزمات الأساسية كالكانيولا. وعلى الرغم من صدور تحويلة علاجية عاجلة لها منذ أكثر من شهرين، إلا أنها لا تزال تنتظر دون جدوى ودون أي قدرة على السفر لتلقي العلاج خارج غزة.
لذا، نناشد كافة الجهات المختصة، والمؤسسات الإن
